Nueces County, TX — February 9, 2024, Alexus Garcia was injured in a motorcycle versus car accident just before 7:30 p.m. along Ocean Drive.
According to authorities, 26-year-old Alexus Garcia was traveling on a westbound motorcycle on Ocean Drive in the vicinity east of Ocean View Place when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a Nissan Sentra that was southbound in a private drive attempted to enter the roadway at an unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to Ocean Drive traffic. This resulted in a collision between the front left side of the Nissan and the front-end of the motorcycle.
Garcia incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the collision. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
