David Overton opened the first Cheesecake Factory restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA, in 1978. The very first Cheesecake Factory to open outside of California was in 1992 in Washington, D.C. Since then the restaurant has grown to 210 restaurants worldwide with revenue of $2.276 billion in 2016.

Simply because a Cheesecake Factory location was investigated, it does not mean that they are a location that displays a pattern of violating TABC code. Conversely, if a location has been investigated and investigators determine that they are not in violation of TABC code, that does not mean that the alleged violation did not take place. Allegation:
On 12/15/2011, a law enforcement agency alleged that an employee was intoxicated while on duty.
TABC investigators closed down the investigation on 1/6/2012 after being unable to find enough evidence to support the allegations by that particular law enforcement agency.
Arlington - 3881 S Cooper St
Allegation:
This location was alleged to have sold alcohol to a minor on 4/17/2012.
The TABC investigators closed the investigation on 3/27/2012 after issuing a civil penalty or fine.
Fort Worth - 455 Commerce Street
Allegation:
A law enforcement agency alleged that this location had failed to report a breach of the peace on 4/7/2017.
TABC investigators closed the investigation on 5/24/2017 with no further action taken.
