Montgomery County, TX — February 5, 2025, a man was injured as the result of a car versus pedestrian accident at 6:44 p.m. on Ford Road.
Authorities said in initial statements that the accident happened off the corner of Linda Lane.

It appears that an 83-year-old man was on foot at the time. While in the area of westbound lanes, an Infiniti struck the man. The pedestrian was seriously injured as a result. No other injuries were reported. It’s unclear if authorities considered charges or citations.

Pedestrian accidents aren’t always seen as the complex accidents they really are. People think it’s all about who had the right-of-way. That’s important, but it’s just one factor. Investigators also need to consider things like lighting, signage, road markings, visibility, and whether or not the driver had a reasonable chance to avoid the collision. If authorities aren’t painting a clear picture using these factors, then they could be missing something important.
