Los Fresnos, TX — December 10, 2024, Six people were injured following a car accident that occurred on Hwy. 100 near FM 803.
An investigation is underway into a multi-vehicle accident that left six people injured during the morning hours of December 10th. According to official reports, a Kia Soul was travelling on Hwy.100 and attempting to merge onto the highway, when the Kia reportedly failed to yield right-of-way to a pickup truck thus resulting in a accident.
They initial collision saw the two female occupants of the Kia become ejected from the vehicle. There was also a Toyota Rav 4 involved in the accident, though its unclear in what manner. When first responders arrived on the scene they found that a total of 6 people required medical treatment and transported them to the hospital. Currently there have been no further details released form the accident, including the identities of the injured and the status of their injuries.
