Authorities are working to determine the cause of a serious crash involving a semi-truck and at least one other vehicle that occurred early Friday morning in Kern County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of North Rancho Drive and David Road. At least one person suffered major injuries and was airlifted from the scene. Two people were reportedly pinned inside the wreckage, and the semi-truck involved overturned, spilling a load of plastic bins onto the roadway. The full cause of the crash remains under investigation.
