While few details are available right now, details following any single-vehicle wreck are best taken with a grain of salt. It can surprise people to learn just how much can slip through the cracks in these accidents simply because they’re not seen as a high priority. Whether it’s mechanical issues, faulty safety features, road defects, medical conditions, or some other extenuating circumstances, it’s rare authorities take the time to represent the victim’s side of the story. I’m already someone who consistently praises the work of independent investigators, but single vehicle wrecks are a perfect example of the kinds of crashes best off in the hands of independent professionals. I don’t see a reason right now why this crash would be an exception.
