Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

It’s generally unsurprising for there to be so few details publicly available after a single-vehicle wreck. They just don’t draw as much attention as other kinds of accidents. What surprises folks, though, is finding out that behind the scenes, families aren’t always getting any more details than anyone else in the public.

Authorities don’t always dedicate the time or resources necessary to provide a thorough explanation of a crash, which can involve anything from medical conditions to manufacturers’ defects to alcohol to road hazards. Some factors are common, some aren’t. The key is to let the evidence speak for itself. Unfortunately, this is another crash where I can only hope those affected are getting more satisfactory answers than what little is available to the public.
