Amarillo, TX — March 9, 2026, Zayden Sanders was injured in a truck accident at about 5:50 p.m. on Interstate 27/Canyon Highway.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2023 Toyota Tacoma was heading north when it crashed into a 2016 International semi-truck that was stopped on the interstate near Cross Street.
Toyota driver Zayden Sanders, 18, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.
The truck driver suffered minor injuries, the report states.
