Galveston, TX — March 21, 2026, Zaid Chandler was injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 8:30 p.m. on State Highway 87/Broadway Avenue.
A preliminary accident report indicates that an eastbound 2021 Chevrolet Colorado was trying to pass another vehicle on the right when it crashed into a tree near the intersection with 12th Street.
Driver Zaid Chandler, 45, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.
