Trinity County, TX — January 14, 2024, Zackary Curtis Allen was injured in a single-car accident at about 3:30 a.m. along State Highway 94.
According to authorities, 32-year-old Zackary Curtis Allen was traveling in a southwest bound Honda CR-V on State Highway 94 in the vicinity southwest of the Timber Ranch Road intersection when the accident occurred.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Honda failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered left, crossing over the northeast bound lane before leaving the roadway completely. It then allegedly collided with an embankment and a tree before overturning and coming to a stop resting on its right side.
Allen incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
