Kendall County, TX — May 11, 2024, Yarilee Rivera was injured as the result of a car accident at around 3:L54 p.m. along Interstate 10.
Investigators said that the crash took place along northbound lanes of the interstate just south of North Main Street.
According to officials, 43-year-old Yarilee Rivera was in an Acura going along I-10. The vehicle somehow lost control, resulting in the car overturning off-road. Due to the crash, Yarilee Rivera was seriously injured.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. No further information about the accident is available at this time.

One concern I have with any single-vehicle wreck is if it ever got the attention it deserved. Sometimes, authorities treat them as a low priority, and that leads to shallow investigations or rushed conclusions. At the end of the day, the evidence needs to be able to speak for itself. If that never happened here, there could still be more to the story.
