July 13, 2026, one person was killed as the result of a work accident which happened at a location off Old Grayburg Road.
According to a preliminary online OSHA accident summary, the incident involved oil and gas operations just north of town along the east side of Old Grayburg Road.
Right now, exact circumstances are unclear. One worker succumbed to fatal injuries. The cause of death remains unclear. It’s unclear if anyone else was hurt. Additional details about the accident remain under investigation.
How Did This Accident Occur?
OSHA looks into just about any death on a job site. This could involve anything from equipment failure to a structure collapse to some unforeseeable medical emergency.
