San Antonio, TX — February 13, 2024, a bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run car accident shortly before 4:50 p.m. along South Presa Street.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the vicinity of the S. Presa Street and Graf Road intersection.
The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that a 65-year old man was apparently exiting a trailhead and attempting to cross the street with his bicycle when a car struck him. Emergency responders reportedly arrived on scene to find the victim lying unresponsive in the roadway. The person(s) in the suspect vehicle allegedly fled the scene without stopping to render aid of any kind to the victim, who was declared deceased at the scene.
