Lubbock, TX — April 7, 2026, William Goodwin was killed in a truck accident at about 3:15 a.m. on Interstate 27/Marshall Formby Memorial Highway.

Authorities said a semi-truck was heading north near 50th Street when it hit a pedestrian who reportedly had been standing in the road.

The pedestrian, 67-year-old William Goodwin, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.
