How Did This Accident Occur?

This late at night, a vehicle failing to control speed and rear-ending someone is often a sign of either distracted driving or drunk driving. Considering that driver allegedly fled the scene, I would lean more towards alcohol. People often flee accident scenes when they were doing something they didn’t want police to find out about. As such, it’s important to find this driver so there can be a full investigation of what all happened here.

To that end, was there anyone in the area before or after the accident who saw something that could be useful? Are you a witness who can describe the suspect? Authorities no doubt want to hear from as many people as possible. You can also share in the comments if you think you may know something.
