Accident Report

August 24, 2026, Victor Gonzalez was killed as the result of a train accident that happened around 2:33 a.m. along Kuykendahl Road.

According to initial details about the accident, it took place at the Kuykendahl Road and Hufsmith-Kuykendahl Road. Preliminary information from Harris County officials says that Victor Gonzalez was in a Nissan Rogue going northbound. In events still under investigation, the Nissan went onto railroad tracks as a Union Pacific train passed through. The train struck the Nissan.

Due to the collision, Victor Gonzalez died. No other injuries were reported. Investigations are ongoing.
