Austin, TX — May 5, 2024, Victor Abrajan was injured as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 11:53 p.m. along Research Boulevard.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of the Research Boulevard and North Capital of Texas Highway intersection.
Officials said that 30-year-old Victor Alfonso Abrajan was on a BMW motorcycle going southbound along US 183. While doing so, a Nissan Pathfinder slammed into the motorcycle from behind. Due to this, Victor Abrajan was seriously injured.

As straight-forward as these details may seem, motorcyclists aren’t always treated fairly after an accident. A lot of people are biased against them and just think they’re all reckless drivers. This can impact investigations even when it seems there’s someone clearly to blame. Hopefully that didn’t happen here, and the rider got the fair treatment they deserved. I’ve seen too many similar situations require extensive efforts to set the record straight simply because investigators couldn’t set their bias aside.
