UPDATE (July 16, 2024): Recent reports have been released which clarify some of the details of what occurred over the course of this accident. According to these reports, 65-year-old Valeriy Teodissiev, a 61-year-old woman, and a 42-year-old woman were traveling in a northbound BMW on the I.H. 10 access road in the vicinity north of Dominion Drive when, the accident took place. The vehicle allegedly swerved in order to miss hitting construction cones which were blocking the right-hand lane of the access road, but ended up losing control. This caused the BMW to overturn, rolling an unknown number of times before coming to a stop resting on its right side.

Teodossiev, who was apparently ejected from the vehicle over the course of the accident, incurred fatal injuries. The other two occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries, as well. No additional information is currently available; the investigation is still ongoing.

According to authorities, 65-year-old Valeriy Nikolov Teodossiev was traveling on the access road for Interstate Highway 10 in the vicinity of the Camp Bullis Road intersection when the accident took place.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the vehicle was involved in a single-car rollover accident. Teodossiev sustained reportedly fatal injuries over the course of the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
