Accident Report
March 26, 2026, two people were injured following a UTV accident at around 9:25 p.m. along Farm-to-Market 326 just off US 69.
Initial details about the accident are limited at this time. Authorities said that a 45-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were on a Polaris Ranger going southbound along FM 326. The vehicle somehow left its lane and crashed. Both riders were injured due to the crash.
Additional details about the accident are unavailable at this time.
How Did This Accident Occur?
With any single-vehicle accident, immediate concerns will no doubt be in regards to distracted driving or unsafe speeds. It’s important, though, to consider even unlikely possible factors, like vehicle defects, road hazards, or tire blowouts.
My concern is that these other possible factors are often overlooked even in typical car accidents. With an atypical vehicle like a side-by-side, I’m even more skeptical that authorities will treat this crash as a priority. Hopefully this crash ends up in the rights, whether that’s the authorities or independent professional investigators. It’s always important that a serious accident gets the attention it deserves.
