Harris County, TX — October 25, 2025, Tykene Tillman was injured as the result of a car accident at around 11:11 p.m. along FM 1960.
Initial details about the accident say that the crash happened just off FM 1960 Road and Jones Road, northwest of Houston.
Investigators said that 19-year-old Tykene Tillman was in a Nissan Versa going eastbound. A Jeep Grand Cherokee was going westbound. The Jeep reportedly failed to control speed, leading to the two vehicles colliding.

As straight-forward as these details seem, there really aren’t any simple or open-and-shut car accidents. I see too many people make this assumption only to end up weeks or months down the line still asking the same questions they were on day one.
That’s why it’s important for victims and families to know how their investigations are being handled. If authorities are able to dedicate the time and tools necessary to investigate even complex, unlikely possible factors, that’s a good sign that all the answers will be brought to light.
