Accident Report
Louisville, KY — August 6, 2026, two men were killed in a truck accident at about 5 a.m. on the ramp to Henry Watterson Expressway/Interstate 264.
Authorities said a northbound Federal Express semi-truck was leaving Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway/Interstate 65 when it missed a curve and went off the road. It crossed into the southbound ramp to I-264 before crashing into a rock wall.
Two men in the truck were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities. Their names have not been made public yet.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Jefferson County crash at this time. The accident is still under investigation.
