Navajo County, AZ — August 7, 2026, two people were killed in a truck accident at about noon on Interstate 40 west of Winslow.

Authorities said a westbound semi-truck crossed the median for some reason and collided head-on with an eastbound semi-truck near Meteor City Road, causing both vehicles to catch fire.
