Accident Report

Prince George’s County, MD — September 19, 2026, two people were killed and four others were injured in a rollover accident at about 2:50 a.m. on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway/U.S. Route 295.

Authorities said a northbound vehicle rear-ended another vehicle near Laurel-Bowie Road/State Route 197. The vehicle overturned and caught fire after the collision.

The northbound vehicle’s driver and a passenger were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in South Laurel, according to authorities, while four other passengers were hospitalized. Three suffered life-threatening injuries.

The people in the other vehicle were not hurt, authorities said.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Prince George’s County crash at this time.
