Accident Report
Montgomery County, MO — August 3, 2026, two people were killed in a box truck accident at about 1:50 p.m. on Interstate 70/Dwight D. Eisenhower Highway.
Authorities said a 2020 Freightliner box truck and a Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycle collided while heading west near High Hill.
Two people on the motorcycle, a 36-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman from Kennewick, WA, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at mile marker 182.2, according to authorities. Their names have not been made public yet.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Montgomery County crash at this time. The accident is still under investigation.
