How Did This Accident Occur?

Any time a car accident happens after midnight, it’s tempting to assume that it was caused by driver fatigue, but a fatal crash shouldn’t be judged on guesswork. We need some facts to figure what happened here.

Investigators will scrutinize evidence from the scene, data from the Hyundai’s engine control module and any available witness statements or traffic camera footage in their probe. Each step of their investigation will help determine if another vehicle forced the Hyundai off the road or if the car had some kind of mechanical defect.
