How Did This Accident Occur?
Authorities likely will work to reconstruct this accident like they would any other, but the semi-truck that lost a tire bears some extra scrutiny.
Was it an old tire that should have been replaced already, or was it a new tire with some kind of defect? That could have some bearing on whether the trucking company or tire maker shares any responsibility for this crash, but only if a qualified expert examines the truck and its tires.
The people hurt in this crash deserve to get a full picture of what caused this crash.
