Houston, TX — February 8, 2024, Tun Tun and one other person were injured in a car accident shortly before 5:00 a.m. along Gulf Freeway, I.H. 45.
According to authorities, a Nissan Frontier occupied by a 59-year-old woman was reportedly at at stop in the left-most lane of traffic on I.H. 45 northbound in the vicinity north of Pierce Street when the accident took place.
The Nissan did allegedly have its hazard lights activated. However, a northbound Acura occupied by Tun Tun—a 43-year-old man—was unable to avoid a collision with the Nissan, officials state. It reportedly struck the rear-end of the Nissan, causing significant damage to both vehicles.
Both Tun Tun and the woman from the Nissan incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash. They were each transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
