How Did This Accident Occur?
The fact authorities have a description for the truck makes me hopeful that they either have a witness or video from a nearby home or business that can help explain what happened here. In terms of finding the truck driver, keeping these reports in the public eye as much as possible is a prudent path forward. I remember I had a semi-truck hit-and-run case that authorities had written off as unsolvable, but witnesses to the crash found our report on it and came forward with new information that led to the trucker’s employer, then the trucker himself. I’m hopeful that continued pressure like that will lead to a resolution here, as well.
