Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

This crash highlights the dangers of unsafe U-turns, particularly with large vehicles like rental trucks that require ample space and time to complete such maneuvers. Also, there are immediate concerns about why the truck driver ran away. Was the driver impaired? Did the driver not have a valid license? Did the driver have outstanding warrants? Investigating these questions can be key to finding the suspect and ensuring the driver is held accountable for any role in the accident.

Hopefully someone in the community is able to come forward as a witness or with video evidence that could help identify the suspect.
