Burlington County, NJ — February 13, 2024, fourteen students were injured in a bus versus truck accident at about 3:00 p.m. along Skeet Road.

According to authorities, a school bus occupied by fourteen students was traveling on Hawkin Road attempting a left turn onto Skeet Road when the the accident took place.

As the bus was making the turn, it was reportedly struck by a utility truck that had been traveling southbound on Skeet. Eleven of the children incurred injuries severe enough to be transported from the scene to local hospitals by EMS in order to receive treatment. The other three students went first to their respective homes, but were later taken to local medical facilities in order to receive treatment, as well. It is unclear, at this point, whether or not the driver of the utility truck was also injured.

Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
