West Valley, UT — February 21, 2024, two people were killed in a truck accident shortly before 10:30 p.m. along Mountain View Corridor.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of Mountain View Corridor at the 3500 South intersection.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a passenger car was involved in a collision with an 18-wheeler. Two people—the sole occupants of the passenger vehicle—incurred reportedly fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
