Harris County, TX — November 11, 2025, one person was killed due to a commercial vehicle accident around 8:00 a.m. along US Highway 290.
According to initial details about the crash, it happened along the highway near Jones Road and Senate Avenue, northwest of Houston.
Right now, preliminary information is scarce. News reports say that the accident involved a semi-truck, and another vehicle may have crashed into the back of it. One fatality was reported. It’s unclear if anyone else was injured.

This early in a truck wreck investigation, it’s important to make sure time-sensitive evidence is being secured. I’ve seen countless situations where authorities never bothered to pull vehicle data, dash cam video or video from nearby security cameras, inspection of the vehicles involved, including maintenance histories, or even drug and alcohol tests.
