Upton County, TX — November 20, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident at about 6:45 in the morning along State Highway 349.
According to reports, a 24-year-old man was traveling in a southbound Ford F-250 along S.H. 349 just north of the F.M. 2401 intersection when the accident occurred.
For unknown reasons, the pickup truck collided with the rear end of an oversized crane which had been slowing in preparation for a right turn into a private drive. The 24-year-old reportedly sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident. He was taken to an area medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries were reported.
