Tuscarora Township, PA — December 18, 2023, four people were injured in a three-vehicle truck accident sometime in the morning along Route 6.
According to authorities, a motor-vehicle was at a stop in the eastbound lane waiting for westbound traffic to clear in order to make a safe left turn into a parking lot when the accident took place.
For unknown reasons, the vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle. This collision caused the original vehicle to be pushed into the eastbound lane of traffic, resulting in a collision with an oncoming box truck. The box truck ended up being overturned on its passenger side because of the crash. Four people involved in the three vehicle accident reportedly incurred injuries; they were each transported to a local hospital in order to receive necessary treatment.
The accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were not specifically reported on; however, photographs taken at the scene which have been published in the news depict apparently cloudy skies and wet roads.
