Richmond, UT — January 26, 2024, one man was killed in a truck accident at approximately 6:30 a.m. along U.S. Highway 91.
According to authorities, an 18-wheeler towing a trailer loaded with hay bales was traveling southbound on U.S. 91 in the vicinity south of the W 600 S intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a Ford Taurus collided with the back of the trailer. The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. The road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear. The sole occupant of the Ford, a man, incurred critical injuries as a result of the crash. He was declared deceased while EMS was transporting him to a local medical facility. No other injuries have been reported.
