Pasadena, TX — December 27, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident at approximately 12:45 in the afternoon along Port Road.
According to reports, a 36-year-old man was traveling in a north-facing Ford F-250 attempting to make a left turn from a private drive onto the eastbound lanes of Port Road approximately one mile east of S.H. 146 when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the pickup truck entered the intersection at an unsafe time. This poorly timed maneuver led to a collision between the pickup truck and an eastbound 18-wheeler. The 36-year-old sole occupant of the pickup truck reportedly sustained suspected serious injuries as a result of the collision; he was taken to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
