Nacogdoches, TX — November 22, 2024, one person was killed in a single-vehicle truck accident sometime in the afternoon along Old Tyler Road.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Old Tyler Road in the vicinity of the Terry Road intersection.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound commercial vehicle failed to safely maintain its lane of travel, veering off of the roadside and crashing into some trees before overturning. The person who had been behind the wheel of the truck suffered fatal injuries in the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene.
