Midland, TX — November 4, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident at a quarter to 8 in the morning along Fairgrounds Road.
According to reports, the accident took place at the intersection of Fairgrounds Road and Garden City Highway.
For unknown reasons, a Ford Explorer was on the shoulder on the northeast corner of the intersection when an 18-wheeler, which was making a right turn from Garden City Highway onto Fairgrounds Road, collided with the Explorer. The sole occupant of the Explorer—a 41 year old woman—reportedly sustained severe injuries as a result of the incident. She was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. There are no additional details currently available concerning this incident.
