Marshall, MN — January 12, 2024, one person was killed in a truck accident just after 2:45 in the afternoon along State Highway 23.
According to authorities, a 69-year-old man was traveling in a northeast bound Dodge Ram pickup truck along S.H. 23 approaching the U.S. 59 intersection when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Reports indicate that a Freightliner was making a left turn from southeast bound U.S. 59 onto southwest bound S.H. 23. The two vehicles allegedly collided in the intersection. The 69-year-old man incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the crash. No other injuries have been reported.
