Louisville, KY — March 1, 2024, two people were injured in a truck accident that took place just after 12:00 noon along 2nd Street.
According to authorities, the accident occurred between four separate vehicles on the Clark Memorial Bridge on 2nd Street.

The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, during the course of the accident, an 18-wheeler with a trailer in tow reportedly ploughed through the edge of the bridge, dangling in a precarious manner with the driver still inside the cab. Rescue workers were able to successfully coordinate in order to extract the woman from inside.
Two people involved in the wreck incurred reportedly critical injuries as a result. They were taken to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive immediate treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
