Indianapolis, IN — March 5, 2024, two state troopers were injured in a truck accident that took place in the afternoon along Interstate Highway 65.
According to authorities, two Indiana state troopers were inside of their vehicle as they investigated a previous accident that had taken place on I.H. 65 southbound in the vicinity south of 38th Street when the accident occurred.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the police vehicle was struck by an 18-wheeler. Both of the troopers incurred injuries of unknown severity and were transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
