Driver Injured in Truck Accident on I-15 in Las Vegas, NV

Las Vegas, NV — January 27, 2026, one person reportedly was injured due to a service truck accident around 6:18 a.m. on I-15.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash occurred along northbound lanes of the interstate in the area of Tropicana Avenue.

Right now, the events surrounding the accident are unclear. A passenger vehicle and a service truck reportedly collided along the side of the interstate. Due to this, the driver of the passenger vehicle reportedly was seriously injured.

Too often, I see reports which amount to little more than statements from whoever was left at the scene. This can lead to one-sided stories and overlooked details. As such, it can be helpful to follow up with authorities early on in the investigations. If they can show they’re dedicating the time and tools to giving the accident the attention it deserves, that likely means they’ll do good investigations.
