Hutchins, TX — December 21, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident just before 5:15 in the morning along I.H. 45.
According to reports, a Nissan Altima had stalled in the far right of the northbound lanes of Interstate Highway 45 approximately half of a mile north of Dowdy Ferry Road when the incident took place.
Officials indicate that a Dodge Ram 5500 truck allegedly collided with the rear end of the Altima. This collision pushed the Altima forward, hitting the 42-year-old woman who had been reportedly walking back toward her her. The woman incurred suspected serious injuries as a result of the accident; she was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive immediate treatment. No other injuries were reported.
