Harlingen, TX — November 24, 2023, one person was killed in a truck accident at approximately 4:30 in the morning along Harrison Avenue.
According to reports, an 18-wheeler was backing into a driveway off of Harrison Avenue in the vicinity of 54th Avenue when the accident took place.
For unknown reasons, a Chevy Camaro which had been eastbound on Harrison Avenue failed to stop before colliding with the trailer of the 18-wheeler. The Camaro was allegedly traveling at a speed high enough for the vehicle to become wedged beneath the trailer. The driver of the Camaro—52-year-old man—was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
