Greenville, TX — December 15, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident just after 2:00 in the afternoon along Joe Ramsey, U.S. 69.
According to reports, a Lincoln Navigator SUV was traveling westbound on Farm to Market 1569 at the U.S. Highway 69 intersection when the accident took place.
Authorities indicate that, for unknown reasons, the SUV failed to yield the right-of-way to highway traffic, entering the intersection and attempting a left turn onto Joe Ramsey at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision with a southbound 18-wheeler.
A 61-year-old woman who had been an occupant of the SUV reportedly sustained suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash; she was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment. No other injuries were reported.
