Fredonia, NY — March 26, 2024, one person was killed in a truck accident sometime in the afternoon along Bennett Road, S.R. 60.
According to authorities, the accident occurred along Bennett Road in the vicinity north of Main Street, U.S. Highway 20.
The causal factors that led to the wreck are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a passenger vehicle was involved in a collision with the trailer of an 18-wheeler. The passenger vehicle reportedly became wedged underneath. One person apparently incurred fatal injuries as a result of the crash. No other injuries have been reported.
The weather and road conditions in the area at the time have not been specifically reported on; however, photographs of the scene which have been published in the news depict apparently wet roads and cloudy skies.
