Erie County, TX — December 4, 2023, a Conneaut man was killed in a truck accident at approximately 5:40 in the evening along Interstate 90.
According to reports, the accident took place on Interstate 90 in the westbound lanes between the exit for Fairview and the exit for Girard.
The 68-year-old Conneaut man had allegedly stopped his pickup truck on the side of the road and gotten out of his vehicle in order to offer assistance to a disabled vehicle. For unknown reasons, an 18-wheeler collided with both the parked pickup truck and its driver. The man was declared deceased at the scene of the accident. No other injuries were reported.
