El Paso, TX — January 28, 2024, two people were injured in a truck accident just after 3:30 a.m. along Industrial Avenue.
According to reports, a 21-year-old man was traveling in an eastbound Chrysler 300 on Industrial Avenue in the vicinity east of the Hawkins Boulevard intersection when the accident occurred.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Chrysler collided with the back of a trailer that was in tow behind an 18-wheeler which had been parked on the right side of the road.
The 21-year old man—who had been the sole occupant of the passenger vehicle—incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash. The 23-year-old man who had been the only person in the 18-wheeler apparently incurred minor injuries, as well. Both were transported to local medical facilities in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
