Douglas County, NV — March 7, 2025, one person was injured in a truck accident at about 7 a.m. on U.S. Route 395 between Spring Valley Drive and Pine Valley Road.

Authorities said a semi-truck and a Ford transit van collided head-on near Double Spring. The semi, which was hauling a cattle trailer, jackknifed after the crash.

The driver of the van, whose name has not been made public yet, suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash, according to authorities.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Douglas County crash at this time. The accident is still under investigation.
