Crete Township, IL — December 18, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident at approximately 8:15 in the morning along Interstate Highway 394.
According to authorities, the accident took place along Interstate Highway 394 in the vicinity of the Goodenow road intersection.
For unknown reasons, an 18-wheeler hauling scrap metal crashed into a roadside ditch, entrapping the driver in the wreckage. It reportedly took emergency personnel an hour and forty-five minutes to extract him from the vehicle.
